Planning Comission Opening


City of Perry’s Planning Commission is composed of seven members, one member shall be a member of Council and one member shall be a member of zoning board of appeals. Members are appointed by City Mayor and serve for three years. Member’s purpose is to prepare and adopt the master plan, the approval of public improvements, carrying out educational and publicity programs, zoning and approval of plats, and shall have such other rights, powers, duties and responsibilities as are provided under State law and City Ordinances.

Due to a resignation, one of the 7 Planning Commission terms will be open. This term would expire January 2013. Regular meetings are held on the 1st Monday of the month and are compensated $15.00 per meeting. If you are interested in volunteering your time, please leave a message for Mayor, Ross A.
