PerryFest Planning Underway
The first PerryFest meeting of the season will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 13, in the third floor Community Center at Perry City Hall, 203 Polly Street. This year’s PerryFest is only three months away. New activities have been added to the schedule and it’s time to finalize the details.
Volunteers are also needed to donate time to help with various duties throughout the weekend event. Whether it’s a half-hour, one hour or more, we appreciate everyone’s help.
Persons and/or organizations sponsoring an event are requested to attend Thursday’s meeting to review details of their event and finalize promotion.
Persons with ideas and suggestions as well as those willing to volunteer during the 11th annual PerryFest are also encouraged to attend.
An elevator is available in the lobby (west side of building) for easy access to the third floor.
Meetings are generally held to one hour. For additional information, persons may call Perry City Hall, (517) 625-6155, ext. 235.
City Master Plan Update In Progress
Daytime Hydrant Flushing will take place in the City of Perry Wednesday, June 26 and Thursday, June 27.
Residents are reminded to make arrangements accordingly and take special precautions while doing laundry.

City of Perry Board Vacancies
Due to term expirations and resignations, the following seats are/will be open on City of Perry Boards and Commissions:
City of Perry’s Zoning Board of Appeals is composed of three members and two alternates, appointed by City Council to serve three years. The Board’s purpose is to hear and decide appeals where it is alleged by the applicant that there is error in any order, requirement, permit decision, or refusal made by the Zoning Administrator or other duly authorized enforcing agent in enforcing any provision of the Zoning Code. Due to a term expiration, one of the two Zoning Board of Appeal alternate seats is open, with a term expiring July 2015. Regular meetings will be called as needed in response to receipt of the Notice of Appeal and are compensated $15 per meeting.
